– Bradley looks great, but leaves early

One of the difference-makers for the Lakers in the game was the play Avery Bradley. While Bradley might not do a ton in the box score, he plays an important role for the Lakers in the starting lineup.

While he is the starting ”point guard”, Bradley is mostly asked to play great defense and hit some jump shots to space the floor. Against the Spurs, Bradley ended up having one of the best games in his short time with the Lakers.

In the win, Bradley finished with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field. This was Bradley’s third straight game scoring in double figures, as it looks like he is becoming more comfortable in his role with the Lakers.

While Bradley did play great, he unfortunately left the game early with a lower leg injury. Bradley was quickly ruled out after going to the locker room, so this will be something to keep an eye on.

Since Rajon Rondo has already been out, the Lakers can’t really afford to have Bradley miss time either. So far, he has been a key contributor for their great team defense to start the season. Hopefully it won’t be anything serious on the injury front for Bradley.
