– Stars get it done again

In a tough matchup against the Spurs, the stars for the Lakers once again played quite well. The combination of Anthony Davis and LeBron James has been great this season, and they were great once again on Sunday. With this being a close game, the two had to play quite a bit, as they both logged over 35 minutes.

Of the two, Davis led them in scoring with 25 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field. Davis got another double-double with 11 rebounds to go along with his 25 points. On the defensive end, Davis continued to be an excellent rim protector with four blocks. One of the issues for the Lakers in this game was the turnovers. As a team they had 18, and Davis was responsible for six of them. Obviously, that is something that needs to be better.

After a monster triple-double against the Mavericks, James was able to finish with another triple-double against the Spurs. In the win, James totaled 21 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. Like Davis, James struggled protecting the ball, as he had five turnovers. Overall, the stars did well for the Lakers once again. For the next game, they will just have to do a better job protecting the ball.
