– Dwight Howard dominates

What a signing Dwight Howard is turning out to be.

There were a lot of worries and concerns when the Lakers signed Howard. After bouncing around the league and gaining a bad reputation, Howard came back to Los Angeles humbled and looking to help. In six games, he has done just that.

Against the Spurs, Howard put together another great game. In 21 minutes, Howard didn’t miss a single shot from the field, as he finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks. On both ends of the court, Howard has been productive for the Lakers, and he is blending well with LeBron James especially.

Even though Howard is coming off the bench, he has been the more productive of the two centers for the Lakers. While McGee might not being playing as well as he did last year yet, the Lakers clearly have a great 1-2 punch at the five position. Add in the fact that Davis has been willing to play the position as well, the Lakers a lot of talent and flexibility there.

While Howard might not have been the first choice for the Lakers this offseason, he is proving his worth. Howard looks like he is having a great time on the court, and he is helping them win games this season.
