3. Giannis Antetokounmpo

We’ve now entered the exclusive top three. Each one of the following players is among the league’s best at all times and can be interchanged for the most part. Standing at number three on the top 10 NBA players list is Giannis Antetokounmpo, AKA The Greek Freak.

The 2019 NBA MVP led his Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in the NBA last season and many believed Giannis was shaping up to be the best player on the planet. However, he was exposed and fell short of beating the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals, disqualifying him from that title.

Antetokounmpo was an absolute monster on both ends of the floor in his sixth season in the league. He averaged roughly 28 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and collected both 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals. He’s improved dramatically each season and there’s no reason to believe that Antetokounmpo won’t continue to make magnificent strides both figuratively and literally.

The Greek Freak is probably the league’s most valuable player when taking his age, talent level, and potential into consideration. That being said, Giannis needs more postseason success if he wants to be considered the NBA’s best player, which isn’t too far away for the 24-year-old.
