LeBron James put out basically the same effort as the Toronto game! This time he did something different!
Lake Show Life will just let the cat out of the bag now. LeBron James wants to lead the NBA in assists. Hopefully, his journey will not come back to bite the Los Angeles Lakers in the end. The only difference between the Toronto game and this one was that Kyle Kuzma went off and provided much-needed scoring off the bench.
Otherwise, the Lakers could have easily been looking at a two-game losing streak.
LeBron James scored 19 points and dished out 11 assists. He filled out the box score quite nicely, falling three rebounds short of a triple-double. But this type of LeBron James is not going to get it done. The stat chasing LeBron James is back. After watching him take over games like Charlotte, Dallas and especially Chicago, it plain to see that he is going at half speed.

In crunch time, James sized up Aron Baynes and dropped a 3-pointer in his face. That set up the Kuzma back to back job and the Lakers survived to get the win.
Is coasting in a game as bad as taking the night off? This is a discussion for another day, but for the last two games, LeBron James is not playing at full speed. He was earlier in the season and it is starting to show along with another Lakers potential problem.
