KCP’s injury should not be celebrated. If there are fans out there that are, take Dwight Howard’s advice and stop.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been the punching bag for the Lakers faithful for a good while now. For the record, Lake Show Life has poked fun at him too. He does make it easy. He is wildly inconsistent. His jumper is gone and he is now missing layups too.

He has basically replaced JaVale McGee with plays destined for Shaqtin A Fool.

This play has a guaranteed spot on Thursday.

But his last missed layup might have him out for a while. He pulled up lame in the 4th quarter.

Dwight Howard took to Instagram to send a message to Lakers fans. He wants you to support KCP at this time. It looked like an Achilles injury at first. Hopefully, the evaluation comes out positive and he’s back on the court soon.

The Lakers welcome back former head coach Luke Walton and the Sacramento Kings for their third game in four days on Friday. The Kings will be without De’Aaron Fox who is out for a few weeks with a sprained ankle that he suffered recently. The Lakers can’t afford a trap game here, they need to blow this team out and rest AD, who is due to return for Friday’s matchup.

Lake Show Life will have the game covered with a complete analysis.
