LeBron James made history on this night. But he has history with turnovers and missed free throws too.

A funny thing happened in this game. LeBron James came close to having his second quadruple double in his career. No, Los Angeles Lakers fans, this is not a good thing. Here’s some information on his last quadruple double back in 2018.

Jason Kidd being mentioned in the history books twice in a post game shows the six degrees of separation that sometimes happens in the NBA. LeBron James was sloppy at times with the ball turning into over seven times in the game. Four of them were committed very early in the game. If he is adamant about running the offense, this can’t happen.

Maybe, it was Murphy’s Law. He didn’t turn the ball over once in the last two games. But his turnovers kept OKC in the game. Another LeBron issue that needs to be fixed is hitting free throws late. Sure, it shows 3-of-5 from the line in the box score, but the ones he missed was late in the game that could have put the Thunder away.

The Lake Show Life wants to give a shout out to Ms. Jeanie Buss and the entire Lakers organization. The Showtime era is back. Going to these games are starting to be an event again like it was in the past. Check out Maxx who knocked down shots during a timeout session.

If that doesn’t convince you, check out who joined the Laker Girls during halftime. Some celebrities stopped by to join in on the festivities. I guess this won’t make Tom Brady happy anytime soon.

Rob Gronkowski, James Corden and tennis icon, Venus Williams  joined in on the fun that is back in Los Angeles. This is the atmosphere that the late Dr. Jerry Buss had in mind when he passed the team over to his children when he passed.

Sure, Lake Show Life criticized the franchise last year, but it takes character to make changes and improve the situation. Ms. Buss deserves a ton of credit because everything whether it’s good or bad, starts at the top.

The Los Angeles Lakers run it back against the Thunder on Friday. Lake Show Life will have the game covered with full analysis.
