3. Their length

The Sixers have some ridiculous length up and down their starting lineup. They have a 6-foot-10 point guard in Ben Simmons and a 6-foot-9 small forward in Tobias Harris.

Even the “smallest” member of their starting five – Josh Richardson – is a robust 6-foot-5.

This gives Philly plenty of matchup advantages. Much has been made about the Lakers’ length and size, but in Avery Bradley, L.A. has a relatively short starter, as he’s only 6-foot-3. Bradley may be able to hound Richardson, but he may be able to shoot pretty easily over Bradley.

But the Sixers’ length is most advantageous to them on the defensive end. They can easily switch as many of their players are interchangeable on defense.

Plus, they can get into the passing lanes and get deflections, while forcing the Lakers to slow down and really work hard in their halfcourt offense.
