Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron James adds Atlanta to the “Revenge Season” Tour, 4 lessons!

Dwight Howard had a block party and everyone was invited!
Does anybody remember when Dwight Howard was traded from the Hawks to the Charlotte Hornets? Does anyone remember the circumstances?
Well for the one don’t remember, here’s what ESPN’s Zach Lowe had to say about the situation.
"“I don’t know what it is. No one has kind of gotten to the bottom of why. It can’t just be the corny jokes – and my god, does he tell the corniest jokes – but I’ve heard multiple stories of Hawks players learning about the trade and screaming with jubilation into their phones. “You ask why, and one account was that Dwight would give these speeches before the game about how everyone is playing hard, we want unity, we’re going to… and then go out and play like a blah game where he demands post touches and doesn’t rotate as hard as he could. And everyone is like, ‘why are you speaking in the locker room?’ But that’s all anecdotal. It’s just crazy how these stories come out after every stop in his career.”"
Oh well, I guess those days are in the past. Dwight came out trying to block every shot when he got on the floor. One was legal and the other was, not so much. But it counted though.
Lloyd Pierce was so upset about it that he picked up a technical for arguing that Howard’s block was goaltending.
Dwight set the tone for the team and they started throwing away shots. After blocking 14 shots in the Staples Center, they followed up that performance with nine blocked shots in this game.
The Lakers were having so much fun that they were picking on poor De’Andre Hunter.

Rajon Rondo faked Hunter out of his shoes with a ball fake and made a layup, LeBron came behind him with the “fake block” at the end. Welcome to the NBA rook!
The Lakers stay at the top of the NBA with a 24-3 record. Their first major test of the season will be when they take on the 18-9 Indiana Pacers on Tuesday and the Milwaukee Bucks, who is riding an 18-game winning streak. Was this game fun to watch? Sure. But this type of performance won’t cut it this week.
