Players of the Week

LeBron James was huge for the Lakers during their three-game win streak as he averaged 28.3 points, 11 rebounds, and 9.7 assists per game. James was also active on the defensive end averaging 1.3 steals and one block per game. LeBron’s best game of the week was against the Hawks as he posted 32 points; 13 rebounds; and seven assists, along with one steal and two blocks. ANTHONY DAVIS. A. Anthony Davis posted averages of 25.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for the week. Davis continued to make his case as the best defensive player in the league as he averaged 2.3 blocks and one steal per game. AD continued to grow comfortable on offense and began attempting more 3-pointers. Although he only shot 26.3 from deep on the week, he made a season-high – four – in a huge win against Miami.. PF. A+. After a rough start to the season, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope seems to have finally found his groove. Since being inserted into the starting lineup – in place of an injured Avery Bradley – Caldwell-Pope has averaged 10.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. For the week KCP averaged 13.7 points, two rebounds, and two assists per game. He also continued to be the aggressive 3-and-D wing defender the Lakers need as he averaged 1.3 steals and made 41.7 percent of his threes per game.. SG/SF. Los Angeles Lakers.
