Somebody actually found Danny Green’s jump shot!

For most shooters, it usually takes one shot to get in a rhythm. For Danny Green, he was really due for one because he hadn’t shot well for quite a while. Then he got a potential 4-point play here and he actually had a strong night.

Green knocked down seven 3-pointers to the tune of 21 points. Lake Show Life is on record criticizing a guy that was brought in specifically for shooting and not getting an early return on the investment. Sure he went nuts on opening night against the Clippers. He also saved the Lakers bacon against Dallas. But can anyone really remember anything of substance other than that? At $14 million, 8 points a game is not a good look. To put this in perspective, Dwight Howard averages 7 points and his contract is still not guaranteed. Subliminal message here.

In all, this is actually a good thing for the Lakers. Winning covers up a lot of flaws that cause bad habits that can hurt in the postseason. Games like this brings out film. Film leads to figuring out what is wrong and addressing it. As the season goes along, things improve. There’s no better time than the present for the team to see what they can do about it.

In closing, this is why sports is great and the NBA is the best sport in the world. The Antetokounmpo brothers, Giannis, Kostas and Thanasis were all in the same building on NBA rosters.

What makes this cool? The story of sacrifice for the entire family to get to this point is amazing. If you haven’t seen the documentary on Giannis growing up, you need to watch it. He had a long hard road and everything he has accomplished, he deserves.
