Consistency

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope started the season off very poorly. He was turned into memes and funny videos with some horrendous shots. But he turned all that negativity into motivation and has become very consistent in the starting lineup.

After many fans wanted KCP gone, he was refined his game and has become a threat from 3-point land. After starting the season 5-of-22 from deep, he has since caught fire and raised his season average to 38.4%. He continues to be a good catch and shoot player and LeBron is finding him in his sweet spots.

He has seemed to carve out his role for this team and show that the first three weeks are behind him for good. If he can continue to play the way he is, the Lakers are dangerous. His offensive rating of 111.6 is by far the highest of his career.

Signs point to the first three weeks of the season being a struggle that’s in the past. The team had so many moving parts and KCP struggled to fit in. He wasn’t confident and forced too much.

With that being said he looks to be a key member of this team down the stretch. He’s a veteran in this league and knows how to figure things out. It also helps when you have one of the greatest passers of all time in LeBron hitting you in your sweet spots.
