2.) Bench scoring

The Clippers are one of the deepest teams in the NBA, spearheaded by two legitimate Sixth Man of the Year contenders in Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, with the former already having three of those awards to his name.

The pick and roll chemistry between these two is off the charts and is the primary source of offense for the team’s second unit. On the season Williams and Harrell are averaging around 19 points apiece, and are one of the best tandems in the NBA, starting or not.

The Lakers bench had an atrocious outing last game against the Milwaukee Bucks, scoring only four points, and for the team to have any chance against this high powered Clippers offense, the bench simply needs to step up.

Some of the lack of scoring off the bench for the Lakers has to do with the fact that Kyle Kuzma has been sidelined with an ankle injury, but after returning against the Nuggets on Sunday, and scoring 16 points, the team will be happy to have his scoring back.
