Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is balling and deserves his starting spot back!

Lake Show Life did ask for patience when dealing with KCP when he was struggling (Basically because the Lakers was stuck with him!), but MAN we didn’t see this coming.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is playing the best ball of his NBA career and believe it or not, he’s the BEST 3-point shooter percentage-wise on the Lakers at 43%. Yes, folks the player that was getting blistered on social media about being traded is on fire.

Would it shock anyone that KCP is becoming one of the more consistent players on the roster? Let’s take a look at the Blazers game.

In 32 minutes of action, KCP scored 13 points on only seven shots (3-of-4 from distance!) and led the team with +22 plus/minus for the game. He filled his box score with two rebounds, two assists and a block. But it is plays like this that shows Vogel has confidence in him calling his number at the end of quarters.

Normally it’s Kyle Kuzma knocking down last-second shots, but here he’s taking the ball out and throws a perfect pass to AD who swings it to Caldwell-Pope.

Pay attention to KCP’s position on the floor. He is almost automatic on the right side of the floor.

The Dallas game has made it plain that KCP needs to be back in the starting lineup.

Caldwell-Pope knocked down four of his five threes to finish with 19 points off the bench. The dude is killing it Lakers fans, there are plenty of seats still available on the bandwagon.

He’s knocked down 10-of-14 from distance in his last four games which adds to 71%.

Speaking of streaks. Let’s talk about another player that is connected to streaks.
