2. Anthony Davis 2019
In terms of pure talent, Anthony Davis is an easy selection to put at the number one position. He is an elite talent on both ends of the floor and is a top-five player in the NBA. He always put up monster lines in New Orleans and has been everything the Lakers could ask for in 2019.
But he lands at number two on this list because his track record in Los Angeles is only 31 games. In those 31 games, he has been very good though shooting 50% from the floor averaging 27.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.
He has helped the Lakers to the top of the West with his elite play on both ends. He is a candidate for both MVP and DPOY with the way he is playing. Albeit a few injuries, he has shown how good he can be, even playing for a contender having to share the spotlight now.
His offensive rating sits at 111 and his defensive rating is at 105, with a +6 net-rating is the second-highest of his career. He needs to just get his health in order for later in the season. He has the opportunity to be another one of the Lakers’ greats and a consistent piece in the 2020’s decade.
