Kyle Kuzma sent a limo for the OKC Thunder perimeter players!

Kyle Kuzma destroyed the Oklahoma City Thunder all game long. He reminded everyone that when he is on his game, scoring is one of his best skill sets. After Lake Show Life mentioned concerns about Kuz’s struggles in the second half of the Dallas game, he continued his output after halftime in this game.

With the distraction of trade rumors coming for the next three weeks, Kuzma made a strong statement to Allie Clifton of Spectrum SportsNet.

With all of the changes of the hair and inconsistent play, this writer had wondered where the dude from Flint Michigan was. That’s the trash talk “Flintstones” usually bring when it come to talking about their games.

Well after saying he plays better when he gets more minutes the previous night, you know what they say.

“Ain’t nothing to it but to do it.”

Kuzma rolled into OKC and shot his way through it. Kyle Kuzma came out again on fire in the first half, dropping 23 points before halftime. The difference between this game and the others since the Christmas Day explosion was that he finished strong. He had a part in stopping every Thunder run finishing with a season-high 36 points in 40 minutes.

His all around game set him apart from everyone else on the floor. He shot 15-of-24 from the field (4-of-6 from 3-point range!), grabbed 7 rebounds (2 offensive!) and had a team high plus/minus ratio of +20. In the back to back games, Kuzma has scored 62 points and did not turn the ball over once. Welcome to the Los Angeles Lakers playoff run Kyle Kuzma! See you in the spring!

But Kuzma’s challenge going forward will be making the transition to being the third option. Everyone knows he can do this without LeBron and AD. The Lakers need this type of performance within the realm of the offense with the superstars in the lineup.
