Sunday, January 26th is perhaps one of the saddest days in sports history. The basketball world lost one of the finest athletes to ever play the game, someone who contributed twenty years of exciting play to fans across the world.

As the dedications, and memorials start to pour in, each more touching than the last, the reality has started to set in. Kobe Bryant was someone we thought of as an unstoppable force, an incredibly hard worker, who used his talents, abilities, and knowledge for the betterment of the world at large. To be taken away at such an incredibly young age, along with his 13-year old daughter, and seven others in what can only be described as a freak accident is nothing short of tragic.

I’m going to miss you Kobe. You were gone way to soon, and you had so much left to give the world. I’m going to miss you Gianna. You were well on your way to following in your father’s footsteps. It’s simply not going to be the same knowing that you two will no longer be a part of lives.

Rest in peace Mamba.
