Would you all please join Lake Show Life in prayer: Please deliver Darren Collison to the Lakers and keep him away from the Clippers. Amen!

Read into this what you will. Jeanie Buss and Kurt Rambis reportedly took Darren Collison and his agent to dinner before watching the game at Staples Center. Presumably, Ms. Buss eloquently tried to sell Collison on how much he is needed on the roster.

If Collison didn’t believe her, Rajon Rondo provided all the evidence he needed up close and personal. Rondo probably won’t get benched after this poor performance, but he needs to be.

The amount of minutes Rajon Rondo played in this game was 15. In those 15 minutes, the offense took a nosedive so bad, when he sits down the world sees the offense starts humming again almost immediately.  Rondo finished the game with a game worst plus/minus of -14, had 2 points and 4 turnovers.

A special Lake Show Life message to Kyle Kuzma:

Thanks a lot Kuz. Can’t say we didn’t defend you. He really took a deep breath and took the night off to celebrate.  Kyle Kuzma was just as bad as Rondo, shooting 2-8 from the field for 4 points. Remember that great defense he played on Westbrook in the last game? Not in this game, Russ turned him into buzzard meat getting whatever he wanted at the rim down low.

Here’s an idea. If Rondo or Kuzma don’t feel like being consistent more than twice a month, sign this kid to a deal. It seems Tony has a better range than Rajon Rondo.
