The Los Angeles Lakers had better pay this dude. He’s the reason the team didn’t lose.

Forget the LeBron James dagger here folks. The game was well in hand. Anthony Davis was the guy that led the Los Angeles Lakers to victory in this game. This Davis guy is so smooth, Michael Jackson‘s song “Smooth Criminal” should be his theme song. Like they say in the movie, I’m Gonna Get You Sucka, every hero should have one.

In 35 minutes, Anthony Davis dropped 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds (two offensive!), had four assists, three steals and a block. There is no truth to the rumor that he drove the bus to the plane and had to fly it too. If Davis is on his game, nobody can stop him.

Lakers fans, that was when the game was over. He was so efficient it was ridiculous. He got his points on 14 shots. The only thing he did wrong basically was miss four free throws. Man, this dude is good.

But it seemed like he injured his leg in the second half and was limping at times the rest of the way. As Jeff Van Gundy stated in the broadcast, this is why you blow lesser teams out and rest the 4th quarter. When he did get hurt, it was trying to save a bad LeBron pass sailing out-of-bounds.

Now for the unpopular take, the Los Angeles Lakers fans can remember.
