Los Angeles Lakers: 3 lessons from LeBron James, Anthony Davis Mile High show

Dwight Howard controlled the paint and dominated Nikola Jokic.
Dwight Howard anchored the Lakers bench with another performance to boost his chances of possibly NBA’s Most Improved Player of the Year. Think that’s crazy? He is tearing it up coming off the bench. Dwight Howard finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and two assists as Denver had no answer for him in the paint.
Just look at how he moves Jokic around in the paint. What damage AD did to him on the perimeter, Howard finished him off in the paint.
Dwight Howard is definitely trying to improve his free throw shooting. He finished 6-of-12 from the line. But it’s his positioning that is peculiar.

Man, that is Nick Van Exel positioning right there. Howard is trying to stand in the circle as opposed to toeing the line for free throws. Well, good luck Dwight.
