Alex Caruso kind of played good for the Los Angeles Lakers. Maybe he’ll get more minutes?

Readers that have been following the site for the last few days may think that the writer of this post game report may be grinning while putting together this page. Those readers are right. All teeth here.

Alex Caruso was balling last night for the Los Angeles Lakers. Let’s take this further, the game would have been a lot closer if  Caruso didn’t provide a spark to stop Pelicans runs in the first and the second half. Lake Show Life always says in these post game reports, film don’t lie.

Well let’s break down shall we?

Alex Caruso starts the break, spins Etwaun Moore around with the dribble, passes the ball between his legs and LeBron dunks on Josh Hart. Hey it’s not even the playoffs yet.

Guess what, the dude has this penchant of playing defense too! What a concept, playing on both ends of the floor. Just watch.

Alex Caruso again was the defensive spark off the bench for the Los Angeles Lakers, but not only that, he also made winning  plays. The CaruShow dished out a team-high 8 assists. He also found time to score 8 points (3-of-5 shooting!) with 3 rebounds, 2 steals and that assault on Lonzo Ball called a block.

He ended the night a game-high +20 in the box score. Dude’s even doing no look layups Like Jordan did back in the day.

In comparison, Rajon Rondo was a -17 in a game and scored the same amount you did reading this post game.

A special Lake Show Life shout out to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He had a slow stretch before the All-Star break but he seems to be back on stride. KCP scored 15 points on 6-11 shooting which included three shots from distance. Plus he dunked on Derrick Favors something fierce.

Along with Caruso, their contributions from the bench was a positive difference in this game.

Los Angeles Lakers have the Warriors next. Lake Show Life will have the post game up the next day with full analysis and highlights. Wooooooo!
