Los Angeles Lakers: 5 lessons from clinching first postseason berth in 7 years
By Ronald Agers
Giannis Antetokounmpo sent a limo for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron repossessed it!
Around this point in the first quarter, it looked like the Lakers were going to have a long night and Giannis was going for 40 points.
Driving to the basket to get the bucket and the foul, AD was saddled with 2 fouls and was a non-factor in the first half. Giannis scored 10 points four minutes into the game.

Then the Lakers slowed him down in the middle quarters clogging up the middle while Khris Middleton shot bricks and Eric Bledsoe kept collecting offensive fouls. He was completely locked up during the Lakers big run in the 3rd quarter. Plus with LeBron going at him in the post, Giannis got tired.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s numbers when matched up against LeBron last night added up to on seven points on 2-of-8 shooting (1-of-5 from distance!) with one turnover.
Antetokounmpo finished with a 12-point fourth quarter and finished with 32 points and 12 rebounds for the Bucks, but the fact that he averages about 30 minutes a game could have been a factor. After the Lakers blew them out in the 3rd quarter, LeBron showed that he has something that Giannis doesn’t.
A reliable superstar in Anthony Davis. He was saddled with foul issues in the first half. Sadly for the Bucks, NBA rules state there are two.
