The Los Angeles Lakers need a complete team effort to beat the Clippers four times in a week. They got it in this game!

Barring something ridiculous happening, these two L.A. teams are going to be in the Western Conference Finals. Fans want it. The NBA wants it. The TV networks want it and this website wants it more than all of the others combined. It has all the excitement for the younger crowd and real basketball for the basketball purists.

But this is all about who is the best player in the NBA. There is a simmering feud between LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard. Whether Kawhi blows by LeBron for slam dunks with James wondering where the help is.

Or LeBron returning the favor blowing past Kawhi Leonard when he got caught peeking for Anthony Davis’ pick.

This is for marketing. There will be a lot of parties involved making a ton of money in a couple of months off this matchup alone. As great as Anthony Davis and Paul George (If the Clippers had thought about getting him the ball more, this is a different report!) played in this game, these two will be at the top of the mountain battling it out in the Western Conference Finals.

But this game was all about the bench players collectively contributing when the Lakers needed it. Kyle Kuzma for whatever reason (Could be more additions coming!) is becoming a player that is doing the little things, hitting his defensive rotations and rebounding.

Kyle Kuzma continues his transformation with a stat line of eight points, 10 rebounds (three offensive!) and two blocks. Plus, he is playing his cards right in the locker room politics game.

Let’s all join in prayer that these two teams play seven games in the Western Conference Finals. No one really cares about any other matchups.
