3. Chemistry
The Lakers have displayed a tremendous amount of chemistry this year. They haven’t had too many tough times but the team has shown they can all play together. We haven’t heard anything from media that says guys dislike playing with each other.
Dwight Howard was a risky signing because of his past stops. But he has shown to be a good teammate and accept his role. Same with Rajon Rondo, who isn’t playing as many minutes as he used too.
Guys are accepting roles, they aren’t looking for their name to be a hot ticket each night. They’re after a championship, and to achieve that egos have to be put aside. The Lakers have plenty of veteran leadership on the team and they’re displaying that value on and off the court.
Jared Dudley was a very underrated signing by the team in the offseason. He knows he won’t play much, but he acts as a player-coach. He will never have the most talent on the floor, but he will be one of the smartest out there.
Led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the team is clicking late in the season. Let’s hope a lengthy delay doesn’t throw things off when games start back up.
