Los Angeles Lakers: Danny Green’s Rudy Gobert statement now more important

This is bigger than basketball and who’s to blame. Rudy Gobert learned from his mistake and we have to move on.
To say that this writer wasn’t angry with Rudy Gobert and his antics would be a lie. The effects of this situation hit so many people in so many ways. This site was filled with debates and comments about players and their contributions. They are on hold. Playoff coverage is the best part of being a writer. Three weeks have turned into who knows or even worse IF?
Before this pandemic shut down the NBA, it seems almost a lifetime ago when the Lakers beat the Los Angeles Clippers in a Sunday nationally televised game. The shutdown was three days later.
Then Scott Van Pelt made a statement that takes Danny Green’s defense of Rudy Gobert to a whole new level.

There’s always the alternative. Maybe this one incident of Rudy Gobert may have saved more lives than we all realize. Only time will tell.
