The Los Angeles Lakers, in theory, should be beating up on a team like the Chicago Bulls every time that they play them. The Bulls have been among the worst teams in the league for several years now and while they match up nicely in terms of size to the Lakers, they are not nearly as talented.

That is why it was shocking when the Lakers trailed by 17 at halftime in early November against the Bulls. With the NBA season still in its infancy, Laker haters were looking at any reason to discredit the team as a pretender and this first half was the perfect ammunition.

The Lakers were not going to let that happen. After out-scoring the Bulls by only four points in the third quarter, the Lakers had a 13-point deficit to cut into in the fourth quarter. The Lakers doubled the Bulls scored in the fourth frame, scoring 38 points opposed to 19, and walked away with a six-point victory.

LeBron was particularly impressive in this game. He scored 30 points, dropped 11 dimes and grabbed 10 board. In terms of game score, this was the seventh-best game by LeBron this season with the come-from-behind effort certainly elevating it.

The Lakers were not pretenders. LeBron and company proved that in this game after a gutsy comeback win.
