4. Eddie Johnson, 1981

Eddie Johnson was drafted by the Kansas City Kings in the 1981 NBA Draft and has the most games played (1,199) of any player on this list. That sheer number of games played helps raise his all-time totals, but in terms of production on the court, Johnson cannot make the case to be higher than fourth.

That is not to say that Johnson was not a good player as he was a very valuable role player throughout his NBA career, even winning the Sixth Man of the Year in 1989 for the Phoenix Suns.

Johnson was a starter for the Kings in three of his first four seasons and it seemed like he was well on his way to being a constant staple at the All-Star Game as he jumped out of the gates with tremendous potential. In those three seasons as a full-time starter, Johnson averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Moving to be a sixth man did not slow Johnson down in the slightest. He averaged no less than 16 points per game for an entire decade, spanning from his second season in 1982 all the way until 1992.

Johnson went and played in Greece for the 1994-1995 season and was not the same player once he returned to the league, although he was still productive at his age.

While he had the most games played and averaged the most points per game with the best shooting marks across the board of anyone on list, the lack of accolades as well as having the lowest win shares per 48 minutes hurts his case.
