Javale McGee

This might be a surprise to see Javale McGee on this list and I understand why. However, he is expendable. The emergence of Dwight Howard has made it so. McGee is only playing 16.8 minutes per game as it is with Dwight Howard contributing 19.2 minutes per night.

They have been a nice tandem all season with Anthony Davis getting his fair share of minutes at the five, as well. However, in the playoffs, McGee will get played off the floor. Dwight Howard might too, but his defensive presence makes him more reliable than McGee.

Simply put, Anthony Davis should receive every minute at the five that Dwight Howard does not in the playoffs. Davis is best deployed at the five, surrounded by LeBron James and three shooters. End of story.

McGee is averaging 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per night this season.
