Lakers rumors? No, Jared Dudley basically is doing his research!

At the beginning of the month, if you heard this Brian Windhorst report on Get Up about “pessimism is really growing” in NBA circles, basically, you thought the worst. Wasn’t the man just telling the truth at the time?

Well it seemed the NBA and NBPA had issues with how the truth was reported. On ESPN’s The Hoop Collective podcast, he said he was “scolded” by the league and the Players Association for his pessimistic outlook on the situation.

"“I’ve swing from optimism to pessimism, and I’ve been scolded by both the league office and the union for being pessimistic. Scolded!… Sometimes you do things and the league is like, ‘You know what, we really appreciated that, that was great’, and sometimes you ruin their day. That’s just how it goes.”"

Before you start piling on Windhorst for telling the truth on April 6th, 2020 where the truth isn’t popular, he was just reporting the news. Most of the next steps to get the NBA back on the floor will be based on what the Chinese Basketball Association does to monitor the virus. Leave it to Jared Dudley to have his own ways to get information

Now if you piece together the fact that the NBA now a 25-day plan along with Pooh Jeter providing information on the steps that China are making currently, the NBA can take that data and put together a plan of their own.

Does this mean that the NBA will be back on the floor this season? No. But it does show that Los Angeles Lakers fans might want to pay attention to the social media activities of Jared Dudley, one of the last guys on the bench.
