Dario Saric

If the Los Angeles Lakers want to keep the youth trend then they could go after young stretch four, Dario Saric, who is not going to break the bank and would be a better fit in Los Angeles than Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma probably has a higher overall ceiling as we kind of already know who Saric is going to be in the league, but there is still room for improvement for Saric and his three-point shooting alone is enough of a reason to be interested.

The four-year pro is a career 35.6 percent three-point shooter on 4.3 attempts per game. It is not the most impressive numbers, but we have seen how good Saric can be in the right system, as he shot 39.3 percent from beyond the arc in his second season with Philadelphia.

The similarities between the two offenses give us a reason to believe that Saric could be a better shooter in Los Angeles. Philly has a ball-dominant distributor in Ben Simmons, who is LeBron James-lite without a three-point shot and a dominant big that draws attention to the lane, opening up the rest of the court.

The pick and rolls between LeBron and AD have naturally opened up space for off-ball shooters and Saric could really blossom into a corner three specialist that is making three threes every game.

This is the first time that Saric will be an unrestricted free agent and his value has wavered a bit after playing in Minnesota and Phoenix. The Lakers could probably snag Saric for the mid-level exception.
