3. 2/25/20 vs Pelicans
You really could have put either of the last two games against New Orleans at this spot, but I went with the first game because of the hype surrounding it: Zion against LeBron. The veteran king against the face of the next generation.
Not since a young LeBron has the league seen a player with such a combination of athleticism, talent, and skill.
Of course, it takes a lot more than that to reach superstar status. While the rookie certainly showed why he belonged in the league, LeBron quickly reminded him just how much he still had to learn, going off for 40 points on 63% shooting, his highest-scoring night of the season.
The King also added eight rebounds and six assists as the Lakers won in one of the season’s most anticipated match-ups. If at some point the season does resume, I don’t think any basketball fan would say that they wouldn’t want to see a possible first-round playoff match-up between these two teams.
