1. January 11 vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Was there any doubt thy this game was going to be number one on the list? With LeBron and AD both out due to injuries, Kuzma absolutely dominated all night. He looked one of the best players in the league and got anything he wanted at any spot.

The Thunder came into the game hot and Kuzma threw ice on them. Most importantly it came in Oklahoma City, which is one of the toughest arenas to play in. The Thunder play great basketball at home and feed off how loud their crowd is.

But the fans never got into it as the Lakers took over from the start and never let up. Outscoring OKC 41-19 in the first quarter it just continued to get worse for them. It wasn’t until garbage time that the Thunder made the score look better than it actually was. The final ended up being 125-110.

Kuzma shot a blistering 15-24 from the field, that included 4-6 from 3-point land. He ended with 36 points and seven rebounds. He was a +20 in the game and it looked the most comfortable he has ever been from the floor.

He had a 69.9 TS% and a 70.4 eFG%. He also had a 140 offensive rating and a 113 defensive rating. It was one of those games that shows why the Lakers made him off limits in a trade.

It seemed like Kuzma’s best games came with AD out with injury. But unfortunately this team won’t win a championship without AD. So Kuzma needs to find a way to gel with him and LeBron on the court with him.

Enjoy a flashback to this clinic.
