The accomplishment got lost in these iconic moments that took social media over for the week

For the first time in the documentary, viewers got some examples of what Michael Jordan was worried about when it was reported that the series might paint him as a bad guy. The last scene of episode 7 will start a lifetime debate over numerous things.

  • The price that has to be made to be an all-time great.
  • The price of leadership.
  • Having a winning mentality and understanding what that really is.
  • The true understanding of the good, the bad and the ugly of making your teammates better.

Or just read Michael Jordan’s words.

"“Winning has a price. Leadership has a price. So I pulled people along when they didn’t want to be pulled. And I earned that right because my teammates came after me. They didn’t endure all the things that I endured.”"

Now watch it.

Many believe that emotional moment has been the iconic moment of the entire series up to this point.

On the other side of the emotional spectrum is Michael Jordan looking at an I-pad listening to Gary Payton discuss how he defended Jordan in the NBA Finals in 1996. Remember the Jordan crying meme? Well, it has been replaced by a video of him first looking in disbelief then having a belly laugh at Payton’s expense.

What gets lost in these moments was the Space Jam movie filming and how that moment in time may have catapulted the next Chicago Bulls dynasty. Besides collecting $230 million at the box office as one of the highest-grossing sports movies of all time.

  • It allowed Jordan time to make the complete transition back from baseball to basketball.
  • It allowed him to make the transition from the power drives to the basket to the efficient fade away jumper era.
  • It allowed the passion for the game of basketball to return at full tilt.

It happened after the Bulls only playoff series loss with Jordan in uniform.
