How Markieff Morris impacts Kyle Kuzma’s Los Angeles Lakers career
When the Los Angeles Lakers released shooting guard Troy Daniels and replaced him with power forward Markieff Morris, it was an admission that they weren’t thrilled with what they were getting from the back-up power forward position.
Shots fired at Kyle Kuzma.
With Morris entering the mix, there seems to be a significant amount of talent at the power forward positions.
You have Anthony Davis, the nailed-on starter at the position for the Lakers for potentially the next decade-plus.
If the Lakers want to go small ball, they can put 4-time MVP LeBron James at the 4 and he can do an incredible job as he has proven before.
Then with the addition of Markieff Morris, you have a proven veteran in this league. Tough as nails, adds an extra element of nastiness to the frontcourt as well as a player who can defend and consistently hit the 3-ball (He has not shot 3-ball well so far since joining the Lakers). Morris is also capable of playing the 5 spots, giving the Lakers further flexibility with their line-ups.
Reliability is of the utmost importance when it comes it comes to a playoff run and a player like Markieff Morris will offer that in abundance
You even have Jared Dudley, a veteran as well who can shoot the ball and can give valuable minutes off the bench.
With adding Markieff Morris, the Los Angeles Lakers have done something that could have a knock-on effect going forward.
If the Markieff Morris experiment works for the purple and gold, what use will they have for Kyle Kuzma moving forward?

With 4 players capable of playing the power forward position excluding Kuz, is it about time that
Does Kyle consider a change of position?
