Jrue Holiday offers secondary playmaking to the Los Angeles Lakers

While Avery Bradley has done very well defensively in terms of locking down defenders for the purple and gold, he has not stepped up to the plate as a secondary playmaker.

This has become incredibly visible anytime LeBron James is off the floor, going from one of the leagues best offenses to one of the worst when he isn’t on the floor.

With a team that has long term Championship expectations, this is completely unacceptable.

While Bradley doesn’t deserve to be removed from the starting line-up, adding a player like Jrue Holiday who has the length to defend from 1 to 3 and who is capable of dishing out over 7APG could be a huge boost to a team in desperate need of a secondary playmaker.

The ideal situation for the purple and gold is for the Lakers to dominate while LeBron is on the floor, allow him to quarterback the offense and then when he comes out of the game, Holiday can pick up where LeBron left off and the Lakers continue the good work the starting line up did.

With the Laker’s philosophy of having one of Anthony Davis or LeBron James on the floor at all times, this suits the Lakers perfectly when LeBron goes off the floor as Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday are extremely close friends and have played together for 7 seasons.

An automatic bond between the two would lead to them making plays regularly each night and will lead to easier buckets for both players.

Reuniting AD and Jrue alongside LeBron could lead to continued success for the purple and gold.
