It has been a while since we last saw LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The last time we saw LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers was a loss to the Brooklyn Nets on March 10, 2020. That was the last game that the Lakers played before the season was postponed after Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.

Right before that, the team made the biggest statement by any NBA team this entire season by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers in back-to-back games.

LeBron James and company looked great the last time we saw them and fans are hoping that they the long layoff does not impact the team too much and that they look just as great when the league returns to play at Disney World in Orlando Florida.

One thing we know for certain is that LeBron James might look a little bit different in his appearance, that is, unless he hits up the barbers that are going to be supplied for the players at the Disney resorts.

LeBron James looks like he has been under quarantine for quite some time.

LeBron’s wife Savannah posted a series of photos to her Instagram account of LeBron and their kids in honor of Father’s Day on Sunday. And while they were all wholesome, great pictures, there is one that has captured the interest of the sports world.

It is a photo of his daughter, Zhuri, brushing his hair, in what appears to be a somewhat recent photo. It is safe to say that LeBron looks slightly different than when we last saw him on the court.

As you can see, LeBron is embracing the hair and beard and letting it grow out. James was already receiving some flak online for his receding hairline and how he wore his headband and the internet took no exception to this picture.

The common question that most fans seem to be asking is why James does not just embrace the bald look with the beard. He did shave his head and show it off on social media during the 2017 offseason and the common consensus seemed to be that he should embrace that look full-time.

Instead, he keeps the hair short and covers the hairline with a headband, which has lead to hilarious moments such as this season, when his hairline appeared to fall out (hair plugs) and his teammates (Anthony Davis included) decided to rib him about it.

Father time has not yet caught up to LeBron James on the basketball court but it definitely has with his hair. Don’t worry, LeBron, it happens to us all. I am still in my early 20s and my hair already looks like it is thinning out.
