The food for the bubble is bringing more jokes than Def Comedy Jam!

Below is a picture of former Lakers, now Denver Nuggets guard, Troy Daniels showing the food that was passed out in the bubble on day one. Let’s just say that some of the jokes about players skipping out on the town to get a decent meal are hilarious. For fun we have a list of tweets that guaranteed will have you laughing ESPECIALLY the Isaiah Thomas meme. Enjoy!

The pictures drew comparisons to the infamous Fyre Festival. Based on research, that was the music arrangement headed up by rapper Ja Rule and others that were so bad, lawsuits were all over the place and the group lost them all. It is considered the cautionary tale of business fiascos and selling a bill of goods. Outside of Ponzi schemes, the Fyre Festival is considered the selling of the Brooklyn Bridge of fan get-togethers.

Does anyone think the superstars will get tired of this after one meal? Two tops?

The meals are expected to improve after the quarantine. For each team, Disney will have a catering team for these day to day operations.

  • Help create individualized team menus 
  • Support team dietary needs and desires  
  • Police the health and safety guidelines

Each team will have a meal room that is expected to be open 24/7, plus players and team staff will be able to order contactless room service via the Disney app. The NBA and Disney are also discussing a plan to open restaurants on campus for limited capacities.

Lake Show Life hopes so. The NBA players are a lot bigger than what you see on television. The Lakers need food. Especially LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and Markieff Morris.
