Dion Waiters is on this list. Los Angeles Lakers fans won’t like it but get over it!

Lake Show Life has a feature coming soon before the season starts concerning Dion Waiters. If this one play where Waiters blocked Lou Williams and knocked down a 3 point shot (Shown here!) is the reason the Lakers got this guy, they are in trouble.

Hopefully that is not the only reason Lakers fans and media are calling Waiters a very important pickup. This just in, it’s his last chance too.

Let’s take out all of the suspensions and discuss what Waiters did this season. Despite the highlights you see below, believe Lake Show Life when we say not that much.

Waiters averaged 9.3 points in only three games. In those three games, he did shoot an impressive 8-of-17 from deep. But here lies the rub, he only got to play so the Heat could showcase him enough to trade him somewhere. ANYWHERE!

His production didn’t even match up to three Miami Heat players who haven’t played a full season.

  • Tyler Herro
  • Kendrick Nunn
  • Duncan Robinson

If Dion Waiters can’t beat out these guys who haven’t played 82 games yet, can anyone explain how Waiters will beat out Alex Caruso, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo or Danny Green, who have been around all season? Contrary to popular belief, Waiters will not get a lot of time on this roster.

Finally, who gives themselves nicknames? He’s naming himself “Bubble Cheese” now? Well it is better than “Gummy God” which is the nickname he picked up after the infamous plane fiasco.

Next. Waiters deserves more minutes than Smith. dark

The Los Angeles Lakers are officially in the bubble which means Lakers fans will get full coverage of the roster leading up to the restart of the NBA season. Keep it locked to Lake Show Life for the most in-depth and complete coverage throughout the playoffs.
