Yes, Dwight Howard can be fined and thanks to Lou Williams the penalties can be stiffer up to possibly leaving the bubble!

This is a classic case of Dwight thinking he knows the rules, but not actually knowing what they mean. The NBA went to a lot of trouble finding agencies and experts to determine what is and isn’t safe in the bubble. Lake Show Life believes Dwight wasn’t on the list.

Sure, the NBA’s setup in Orlando is one of the safest places in America right now because of the widespread regimented testing protocols and measures put in place. But that’s the case because of rules Howard is rebelling against.

Speaking of rules. Here’s some courtesy of USA Today.

"“Failure or refusal to comply with the Protocols may subject a player to disciplinary action by the NBA or his team (but not both for the same act or conduct, pursuant to Article VI, Section 10 of the CBA), which may include a warning, fine, suspension, and/or removal from the campus,” it reads on the document. “Repeat offenders may be subject to enhanced discipline. Player challenges to any disciplinary action shall be made through the Grievance Arbitration process of the CBA.”"

Each player was required to certify in writing that he will adhere to all protocols while on campus, according to the NBA’s health and safety document. With Howard playing, it’s a foregone conclusion he signed his name in agreement.

Now that Lou Williams got caught in a gentlemen’s club ordering “chicken wings”, the NBA may implement harsher penalties. Being sent home without pay will easily be considered after this fiasco. The Los Angeles Lakers need Dwight for the playoff run.

Plus Dwight Howard would be undermining his own cause. He is already donating the rest of his salary to help social justice issues while spreading awareness for Breonna Taylor.

He can’t help being suspended or banished for unfounded scientific theories he doesn’t know anything about.

If you thought Alex Caruso could get any more popular in Lakers Nation, maybe Howard will pay attention.
