Danny Green or Keentavious Caldwell-Pope

Danny Green and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope have been great for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Both players are known as “three and D” shooting guards and they will be in the starting lineup when the seeding games start this coming Thursday.

Caldwell-Pope has been the Lakers’ most accurate three-point shooter at 39.4% on 3.5 attempts a game, while Green is second hitting on 37.8% of his 4.9 attempts per game. Both players have seen their fair share of playing time in the clutch during the regular season, and they are expected to get more during the playoffs.

Danny Green proved he can hit shots under pressure earlier in the season on November 1st when he forced overtime against the Dallas Mavericks, after he hit a three as regulation ended.

Although both players have seen their share of playing time during the clutch this season, Frank Vogel has favored playing Caldwell-Pope over Green at the end of games more often.

Since both players essentially have the same role on the team, it is more than likely that we will only see one of them at a time during clutch moments in the Lakers’ upcoming playoff run.
