Los Angeles Lakers: Players that should replace Danny Green as a starter
By Ronald Agers
No, this writer is not on drugs. Yes, Dion Waiters could easily be put in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Lakers!
No, Los Angeles Lakers fans, this is not a typo, a mistake or a misread. Ronald Agers is stating after basically saying that the Dion Waiters signing was a disaster waiting to happen is a viable option to start for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Again, don’t turn off your computer or your phone. It does work.
Why should Dion Waiters start? Because the man can get his own shot and put the ball in the basket. Granted, Waiters is shooting just as bad as Danny Green from the 3 point line, but the man can get to the basket anytime he wants to. Danny Green can’t dribble twice without turning the ball over.

For three straight games, the Los Angeles Lakers offense has sputtered mightily. Outside of the two games that Anthony Davis had out of body experiences scoring against the Clippers and Jazz, the offense has sputtered overall.
The Lakers need a scorer that can put the ball in the basket in the first two minutes of a basketball game. The longer the shooters throw up bricks, the more opposing coaches will shift defenses to surround Davis. They can’t do this with Waiters on the floor.
When he sees an opening the ball is going up. Will he take bad shots from time to time? Sure. That is why you can replace him when he is not scoring the ball. But he’s still better than Danny Green who has replaced KCP as the running joke on Lakers Twitter.

How long will Frank Vogel keep this guy in the rotation? This has been a down year for Green overall, and the four-month hiatus has done nothing but make things worse.
It’s been a while since Lake Show Life issued a warning like this. To Frank Vogel and the advanced stat guys that believe in Danny Green. Keep making excuses and the Lakers won’t have to worry about debating how important he is because the season will be over in about a month to six weeks.
You’ve been warned!
