1. Kyle Kuzmaa has looked really good for the Los Angeles Lakers

One of the biggest wild cards heading into the Orlando bubble was Kyle Kuzma and despite how bad the Lakers have been, he has actually looked really good thus far.

Kuzma looked awful in the team’s first scrimmage game against the Dallas Mavericks, failing in all of his attempts to be a playmaker and playing pretty woeful defense against Luka Doncic. However, something flipped and Kuzma has been great ever since.

Kuzma was the best player on the court for the Lakers in the blowout loss to the Rockets, scoring 21 points on eight of 16 shooting with five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.

Kuzma has been shooting the ball pretty efficiently in the bubble and is ironically the only consistent three-point shooter for the Lakers thus far.

He has been playing much better defense as well. While I would not say that he is a lockdown defender, he is more than holding his own on the defensive side and is showing a lot of effort on the defensive side.

If the rest of the role players get right and we get a 100 percent LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the playoffs then the Lakers will be dangerous with Kyle Kuzma as the third scorer. However, a lot still has to get right.
