The Los Angeles Lakers have to stop fouling… period!

This game should have been over by halftime. The stars should have been on the bench by the 4th quarter. It was that type of game. Why wasn’t it?

Fouling and putting Houston (Particularly James Harden!) on the line. The only reason the Rockets didn’t get beat by 40 points in this game was because of the foul difference. For most of this game, the Rockets couldn’t score outside of the 30 points from the free-throw line.

The defense for the most part has been very disciplined in keeping James Harden off the line. Not in this game, he got to the line 20 times. That is a problem if the Lakers let it happen.

Let’s end this report on a very high note. Lake Show Life extends its congratulations to Talen Horton-Tucker.

In his first playoff appearance, THT scored 5 quick points in 7 minutes. But this wasn’t about just offense, he provided energy on both ends of the floor grabbing 2 rebounds and swiping a couple of steals. The cheering from the bench shows how hard his work in practice is appreciated. After the game, AD stated that J.R. Smith has mentored him and helped him to be game ready.

The Lakers should be able to wrap this series up on Saturday in Game 5 as long as they show the defense that got them through the previous two games and three-and-a-half quarters in this one.

A game of sleepwalking as they did down the stretch of this game and the Lakers fans will have another Lake Show Life Lessons post-game on Monday, Ya dig.
