Giannis on the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers with an AD-Giannis-LeBron would have their frontcourt set, but there would still be six spots or so to fill for a playoff rotation. They would likely all be ring chasers, but the idea that the Lakers maintain the Bird Rights of two key role players in Kyle Kuzma and Alex Caruso could make this more manageable for the Lakers.

If the Buss family is comfortable with paying some taxes, they can quite easily be granted an NBA championship. Even with just AD and Giannis in their primes, the Lakers would be likely title favorites every year.

I’m just spitballing here, but a starting lineup of AD-Giannis-Kuzma-Caruso-LeBron sounds pretty good to me. Mix in-ring chasers who want to come make history and you have yourself a three-headed monster with a supporting squad.

The Lakers would have the most skilled big man in the league, the best two players in the league, and the best two defenders in the league. They would be an unstoppable force.

We can only dream for now, but two summers from now should be a fun time for Laker fans. The Lakers are back in business and it couldn’t feel any sweeter.
