Patrick Beverley has used his reputation to control a narrative and he has used LeBron James haters to endorse it!
Well, Russell Westbrook tried to warn everybody back in November.
"“Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense,” Westbrook said. “He don’t guard nobody, man. It’s just running around, doing nothing. … All that commotion to get 47.”"
This was after the Rockets beat the Clippers 102-93 in a game James Harden dropped 47 points, fouled Beverley out and went on to score 17 after Patrick took a seat!

For the record, Patrick Beverley played 8 games averaging 6.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists. However, the Clippers perimeter defense was spotty featuring breakout performances from Luka Doncic and Jamal Murray.
