Rajon Rondo has officially turned into “Playoff Rondo” for the Los Angeles Lakers!

For most of the regular season, Rajon Rondo was terrible. Like playing only three games tops like he deserved a spot on the roster. The Rondo faithful said the same thing over and over again after every bad game.

Rajon Rondo is saving himself for the playoffs!

Since Rajon Rondo returned to the Lakers rotation, the Los Angeles Lakers have lost just once in the postseason. The stars are not carrying him, this is legitimate contributions from Rondo. Playoff Rondo is not a myth. Boy is it real!

When LeBron was out of the game or played off the ball, the offense didn’t skip a beat. To be honest, it got smoother. He really did his thing as a steadying presence off the bench, pushing the pace while getting the second unit in their halfcourt sets.  He ended the game with 7 points and 9 assists and 2 steals. In the game, he passed Michael Jordan for 10th all-time in playoff assists

The stats do not tell the story.

Rajon Rondo is a very calming presence for Anthony Davis. As stated before, the chemistry between the two is out of this world. The passes to AD alone not only with lobs, but bounce passes on the money gave Anthony Davis plenty of confidence to finish this series. AD likes the ball in certain areas and Rondo knows them all.

Look if this play here doesn’t show that it was his night, nothing will.

Now after reading this and leaving a comment below, go outside and try this somewhere and make it on the first try! Good luck.

The next lesson is about a player that showed some real professionalism. Something that wasn’t evident throughout his career.
