Los Angeles Lakers: AD hurt, LeBron James slows Denver! 4 Lessons!
By Ronald Agers
Anthony Davis’ rebound work is becoming a mystery that no one can explain!
Lake Show Life can brag on having the most knowledgeable Lakers fans on the internet. They have no issues posting comments on what they see in the games. The staff needs a little bit of help wondering what in the world is AD’s problem on the backboard. All of a sudden the man can’t rebound. At least in the first half.
But one thing Anthony Davis was doing was dropping buckets in the Denver Nuggets eye. Even when they were raking his.
AD was shooting lights out in the first quarter dropping the Lakers first 10 points. Before he decided to miss, he hit his first seven shots from the field. He finished with 14 points by the end of the first frame.
All told, AD finished the night scoring 34 points on 10-15 shooting from the field. Now that’s the good news, now let’s get to the bad.
Unfortunately, the Lakers Nation watched their championship aspirations flicker for a few seconds when AD turned his ankle and fell to the floor in pain. He was able to get up and close out the game. Lake Show Life will monitor his health moving forward.
His ankle injury has nothing to do with the total lack of rebounding. For the second straight game, Davis did not get a rebound before halftime. He ended up with 5 rebounds total. AD grabbed 2 offensive rebounds late to help seal things, but after collecting 2 rebounds the previous game, the word “soft” will return if things don’t get better.
Reports say that the ankle is going to be okay. However, if Davis isn’t good to go or limited for Game 5, the Lakers will need more from LeBron James in the scoring column.
Read on and see how he did in Game 4!
