Anthony Davis did everything the Los Angeles Lakers dreamed chasing him last season into the Summer!

Music Selection: Summer Madness…Kool and The Gang!

LeBron James had his critics, Anthony Davis just had doubters. Was he tough enough? Can he handle the pressure? Bottom line, LeBron James pressured the franchise to land this guy at all costs. The cost were huge. Last year was a total embarrassment with the Lakers in turmoil. No matter what the price was, they were going to get him. Just total summer madness.

But NBA fans, this is why the Los Angeles Lakers bet it all right here!

As dominant as LeBron James was in this game, Anthony Davis always was there to hit big shots to make sure that the Nuggets had no hope to win the game.

Anthony Davis followed LeBron’s lead with energy and defensive presence in the second half,  dropping 27 points on 8-16 shooting. That huge 3 pointer seen above capped a 7-0 run to extended their lead to 102-92 with 6:11 left. The 3 point buzzer-beater at the end of the 3rd quarter broke an 84-84 tie.

The block on Michael Porter Jr. is a classic play that will sit next to his game-winner to end Game 2.

The madness of AD is centered around his rebounding. For the third straight game, he was blanked in rebounding. This can’t happen in the Finals. But it’s sure easy to point these things out in wins.

Bottom line, the veterans are giving him the guide to championship-winning. Forget all of the other stats. When it was seen that AD and Bron had a passionate discussion on the DEFENSIVE END, it was very telling.

The next player is Alex Caruso. This dude is the x-factor of the NBA Finals. The stars are stars but when this guy is on the floor turnovers show up for opponents. Read on to see how he did!
