2. Anthony Davis is a franchise player and will go down as an all-time Lakers great

Yep. We are going that far. Anthony Davis is going to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, be the franchise cornerstone once LeBron James eventually leaves/retires and will be the one that we remember as the all-time Lakers great.

LeBron James should always be appreciated. I know that Laker fans did not love him before he became a Laker but without him none of this happens. The Lakers don’t get Anthony Davis and instead this year we would have had a team closer to the New Orleans Pelicans.

But when it is all said and done and we look back at this in 25 years we will remember this as Anthony Davis’s arrival as a Laker, which will turn into a long Laker career and (hopefully) more championships.

Everyone knew that Davis was one of the most talented players in the league but there were doubts of him being the guy on a team with his limited success in New Orleans. He has been the guy for the Lakers this postseason on a team with LeBron James.

Whether it be his clutch three in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, his game-winning shot in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, or his insane playoff box scores, Daivs has proven that he is the real deal, he is a legitimate number one guy and is the future of the Los Angeles Lakers organization.
