3. Justin Holiday

Justin Holiday — brother of Jrue and Aaron Holiday — had a career year for the Indiana Pacers last season. It was such a good season that Indiana is looking to re-sign Holiday after only signing him to a one-year deal last offseason.

There absolutely is the chance that Holiday wants to stay with his brother Aaron in Indiana but I would also not rule out him leaving. Money talks, but Holiday is not going to get a massive deal and may look to sign with a legitimate contender, like the Los Angeles Lakers.

Holiday could get an MLE contract from the Lakers, which is probably right at the ceiling of what the Pacers would be willing to pay him. Thus, Holiday can make similar money while playing on a team that is contending for an NBA Championship.

Holiday shot over 40% from beyond the arc last season on 4.5 attempts per game. It really was a breakout year for the guard, who has a career 36% average from beyond the arc.

That career average is still not that bad and on the Lakers alongside LeBron James chances are that Holiday looks much more like his 2019-20 self than what he looked like prior. He has proven that he can do it and the Lakers would absolutely maximize his abilities.
